THE BAND

The members of The Bob Smiley Band are Bob on vocals and guitar, Tom Saffell on five and eight string banjo, Marilyn Barclay on vocals and acoustic bass, and Tim May on Vocals, mandolin and guitar. They are entertainers. Down to the person, they share the single-minded goal of getting the audience involved in the show, not just playing music at them. They’ve been doing just that for years. All live in and work from the Nashville, Tennessee area. All live and breathe roots music. All have an innate reverence and respect for entertaining. And all have a humble appreciation for, both, the fans and promoters that give them an opportunity to get up there and do it again and again.
